Inflation with non-canonical scalar fields revisited

چکیده

We revisit inflation with non-canonical scalar fields by applying deformed-steepness exponential potentials. show that the resulting scenario can lead to inflationary observables, and in particular spectral index tensor-to-scalar ratio, remarkable agreement observations. Additionally, a significant advantage of is required parameter values, such as non-canonicality exponent scale, well potential do not need acquire unnatural values hence accept theoretical justification. Hence, we obtain improvement respect alternative schemes, present distinct correlations between model parameters better fit data, which be tested future probes. This combination observational efficiency justification makes at hand good candidate for description inflation.

Brane World Inflation with Scalar and Tachyon Fields

We present inflationary models of the early universe in the braneworld scenario considering both scalar field and tachyon field separately. The technique of Chervon and Zhuravlev to obtain inflationary cosmological models without restrictions on a scalar field potential is employed here. We note that like scalar field, the inflationary solution obtained here with tachyon field also does not dep...

Correlation of inflation-produced magnetic fields with scalar fluctuations

If the conformal invariance of electromagnetism is broken during inflation, then primordial magnetic fields may be produced. If this symmetry breaking is generated by the coupling between electromagnetism and a scalar field—e.g. the inflaton, curvaton, or Ricci scalar—then these magnetic fields may be correlated with primordial density perturbations, opening a new window to the study of nonGaus...

Preheating with non-minimally coupled scalar fields in higher-curvature inflation models

Takashi Torii ‡ Department of Physics, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Meguro, Tokyo 152, Japan (June 4, 2005) In higher-curvature inflation models (R + αnR ), we study a parametric preheating of a scalar field χ coupled non-minimally to a spacetime curvature R (ξRχ). In the case of R-inflation model, efficient preheating becomes possible for rather small values of ξ, i.e. |ξ|∼ several. Although...

Resonant particle production with non-minimally coupled scalar fields in preheating after inflation

(June 7, 1999) We investigate a resonant particle production of a scalar field χ coupled non-minimally to a spacetime curvature R (ξRχ) as well as to an inflaton field φ (gφχ). In the case of g ∼ 3×10−4, ξ effect assists g-resonance in certain parameter regimes. However, for g ∼ 3× 10−4, g-resonance is not enhanced by ξ effect because of ξ suppression effect as well as a back reaction effect. I...
